Review
Peugeot 5008 (10 - present)
They got this right from the start – no mean achievement in a market where families are particularly choosey about what they will spend their money on. This is one of the best seven-seater MPVs around. It is all down to the mix of design flair and sheer practicality of the car. There are acres of space in the cabin with plenty of room for the seven passengers. The rear-most seats can fold into the floor to create a bigger load area, and even with the last two seats up, there’s still an impressively large boot. You can see lots of thought went into the cabin design too. It feels upmarket with nice materials that will also withstand the rigours of family life. There’s also a high level of standard kit on board. On the road, the 5008 handles really well; the steering is well-weighted and sharp, and the drive position and visibility make it a lovely drive.
Look out for
• Check the electric parking brake as there were some issues reported

• It’s a great car to drive; handling and steering are really good
• The rear-most seats are versatile and can fold flat to the floor
• The quality of materials in the cabin is excellent
• There’s plenty of standard spec and safety features
What we don't like
• It suffers a bit from understeer
