Volkswagen Caddy Maxi Life (08 - 10)
For the most part - it’s based on a van. However, the Caddy Maxi Life has all the credentials to be considered one of the best family cars on the market. After all, being based on a van means that it has van-like practicality. There’s tons of passenger space, ample leg/head room, and the boot is a decent size too. Practicality aside, the Caddy isn’t the worst looking car in its class either and the interior looks just as smart as the exterior. It is also a very easy car to drive and manoeuvre. This is largely down to the excellent visibility throughout, good driving position, and the excellent handling – driving the Caddy feels like driving a small car. The steering feels planted, and the ride quality is smooth on the move. You won’t be spoiled for choice when it comes to engine selection, but the choices available impress when it comes to fuel economy and CO2 emissions.
